In English this half term we will be reading The Wizard Of Oz by L. Frank Baum

Amazing Forests @ Delamere Forest

Class 5 had a very muddy but informative day in the forest to support their rainforest work. The children had a great day.

Fair Trade Bake Off


Please complete one activity from your homework menu each week. Homework books will be sent home on a Wednesday. Please return your completed homework to school on a Monday.

Don't forget to check out our class page on the Learning Platform.

You will also be receiving homework tasks through My Maths each week. Please complete the task before the deadline. You will usually get 1 week for each activity.


Homework club is on a Friday. Come along to Class 5 after you have eaten your lunch for support with your homework, access to the laptops or other resources.



Spellings will go home on a Tuesday and spelling tests are administered on a Friday.

Please bring your spelling journal to school every day. You will need these for our spelling lessons.

Reading Records

Please remember to bring in your signed reading record and home reading book every day to school. A class record is updated each day.


PE will be on a Tuesday and Friday afternoons.. Please make sure you have your full indoor and outdoor PE kit and trainers in school on these days. You will need an indoor kit with pumps and an outdoor kit with trainers this term. We will be practising athletic skills and creating dance routines.
