BIG ART in the Outdoors Event 2016

Wow! What a fantastic artistic afternoon! The school has been focusing on taking learning into the outdoors this year and the new woodland area has had a transformation over the last few months. The woodland classroom needed a little colour and some habitats for the local wildlife so we held a BIG ART event in the outdoors. Thank-you to all of the staff who took the time to help source free materials and spend the time collecting items and organising the events. A special thank you to Mrs Cottam, Mrs Badger and Mrs Clarke who planned the event and made all of the arrangements.  Also a thank you to all of our families for the donations sent into school to help resource some of the activities. The afternoon was a success with the most wonderful crafts being made including bird houses, wind chimes, bug hotels, scarecrows, bird feeders, nature bunting, nature kebabs, butterflies and much much more! The woodland is going to look fantastic with all of these new additions and therefore an even more interesting place for our children to spend time and learn. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to come and support their children and the event. The school is already in the process in planning further outdoor learning events for each class in the next academic year. Click here to see the full gallery of pictures from the afternoon.
