Autumn Term 2
Curriculum
This term we will be enjoying the following books in our English lessons:

In Maths we will be learning about Fractions and Multiplication and Division.
In Science we are learning about how scientists classify living things.
In History we are finding out the battles that were fought in World War Two and their impact.
In Geography we are learning about what trade is and why it matters.
In Computing we are learning about 3D modelling, in Music we are learning about songs of World War Two and in Spanish we are learning to talk about homes and houses. In P.S.H.E. we are learning about health and wellbeing.
In R.E. we are thinking about the question, "How do Christians mark turning points in the journey of life?"
In Art this half term we will be sudying the work of different artists and in Design Technology we will be inviting our classmates to, "Come Dine with Me."
This half term in P.E. we are developing our skills in health related fitness and gymnastics.
P.E. kits will be needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Homework:
Homework will be set digitally on SATs Companion. It will be set on a Friday to be completed by the following Thursday. We also expect the children to read at home for at least ten minutes five days per week and encourage them to sign their reading records each time they read. We keep a record of home reads and children are rewarded for their efforts.
